About Me & This Blog

Who am I?
A creative person by hobby. A Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) professional. A thinker. An INFJ-T person. A dog lover. Apart from being an artist and self-proclaimed poet, I am a Revolutionist, and Reticent :) I'm a little old-school and a teetotaler too. Parties are not my cup of tea. I'm a calisthenics enthusiast who also enjoys cycling and jogging.
Prefer to watch animated movies, action movies, and love stories with happy endings. Sad movies are a strict no-no. I am also an admirer of Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil cinema. I like to sing (actually, I sing a lot and I whistle even more). I love to listen to old Hindi songs of the 60s and 70s with Rafi and Kishore being favourite; I also enjoy the Hindi movies of this era. Also, love the Indi-pop and English pop songs of the 80s & 90s especially those of Euphoria and Alisha Chinai [I have a crush🤩on her voice haha].

Ychetan8 is my web pseudonym.
And one more thing I need to confess, I hate parties where people smoke :/

About the blog
The blog was started on Jun 30, 2013, after graduating in engineering with an intention to write about my tough experiences during college and alongside put my creative work. But as time passed, the real purpose of this blog faded away; the article and experience due to which I actually started the blog is still pending. And, the blog became a medium where I put some selective articles from my personal diary.
So, here on this blog, I will be sharing my experiences with life, the ups, and the downs.  But that's not what I am writing this blog for, the blog is meant to show a different and positive side of the troubles that one encounters in life, and how simply ‘A Positive Attitude’ can do wonders.

The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and get up eight times.-Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.

Moreover, I am writing this blog to express what I feel and think because I am quite reticent otherwise. Also, I will be putting up my sketches, cartoons, and poems (Funoetry).

Why “The Exponential Stress?”
As the years passed in Engineering & life, the frequency and magnitude of Stress kept on increasing…Here, I’m not only talking about ‘Mechanical Stress’ but also ‘Biological Stress.’

Happy Reading!
